"SUBURBAN BLUES" is a collection of 12 original songs by John D Clements. John, a self styled "recovering lawyer", began writing songs and perfoming  in local and regional venues after a long and successful career in a prominent Birmingam law firm. John, with his unique satirical touch, writes about the trivial and serious problems of suburbia in a genre of blues he calls Suburban Blues. Typical of the genre is the timely "401K Blues" and "It's A Long Way To Fall. John also writes about familiar classic country and western themes of requited and unrequited love. "SUBURBAN BLUES" begins with the haunting  ballad "The Brave Young Boys" based on a true story of a young solider who died in combat in 1944 whose body was only recently discovered and brought home to be buried next to his dad.
